Being in the treatment room with your child.
Although I invite all parents to accompany their child in the treatment room, I may ask you to leave if your presence makes the treatment more challenging.....as many parents are amazed at how cooperative their child becomes after they leave.
Only one parent is invited in the treatment room. I understand that both parents are excited to be there, but please understand that the treatment rooms are small and it's difficult for the child to focus on my instructions with too many people in the room.
If you come with other children, please stay in the waiting area in the hallway and check in on your child as often as you like. We have many potentially dangerous instruments on our trays that little children are always very curious about.
