Many RS players dislike the Farming Skill. They either train it with Tears of Guthix or use it for a quest requirement such as Fairy Tale Pt 2. People often say Farming is boring when I ask them why. These assertions are untrue.

It's not taught through repeating the same action repeatedly for many hours. Instead, it allows for an extended break between Farming runs so you can choose to do what you want to do.
